Good morning Mother Nature here lol I had to throw that in because on Mothers Day this is what I wore, hair half done, belly “popping”, it just doesn’t get more motherly than this.
Tonight I am feeling relieved. I went to the Dr. today and my baby has turned! Now all I need you to do is stay that way bubs. I have been reading up on C-sections the past two weeks in case he wouldn’t turn. I hope I don’t have to have one. I know the other way pretty well and am mostly afraid of the recovery time with a C-section mixed in with the demands of a newborn, two year old and three year old.
Hollands new favorite word is “mine” repeatedly said Finding Nemo style. So we open up this new light and airy perfume from Kate Spade and the first thing she says is “mine”.
If you haven’t smelt this new scent it’s so yummy! The lily infused fragrance caresses the skin like a breath of fresh air.
Now the question is how do I get my new perfume back from those cute baby fingers without dropping the glass bottle:)
Pregnancy is a rare time in a womens life, as exhausting and body altering as it is, there really are so many things you can get away with that you will never get away with at any other time of your life. So enjoy when you are a complete mess and others around you say, “oh that’s so cute”.
Let me explain…
-having stains on your belly, always. I literally drop food on my shirt everyday. I really don’t notice until I change into pajamas or if a picture is taken of me. I even look back on some of my blog pictures that I posted and notice spots on my belly.
-overeating and having others tell you, wow your baby is getting so big and then proceeding to rub your belly thinking there rubbing the baby, but really half of that is food:)
-over ordering at restaraunts, or getting a second helping, no it’s not because I am eating for two, it’s because I have no self control
Pregnancy really is a time to savor because it is magical, exciting and the best part, you get away with lots 🙂
But there is one thing that I used to do frequently, that I will NEVER do again. I used to use my belly band on my maternity pants as an undershirt, as in like 2 hours ago. People, and husbands, just don’t understand when you obviously have given up and wear the maternity jeans, but then you try and pair them with a non maternity shirt, this leads to no forgiveness.
This post was inspired by my husband. We went out to take blog photos and he was baffled I would wear this combo. I was trying to convince him it was really cute, and he refused to snap any pics other than to show my how ridiculous I looked. I have to hand it to him for being so honest and not letting this one slide. And I would have to agree with him.
I had fun writing this post because this is not my first time I have done this. I hope you find this helpful:)
Things are getting real this week as I realize that I am 32 weeks! I am thinking baby boy will be here in about 5 weeks going off of previous experience. Hudson came at week 37 and Holland week 36, so I never know what to expect. Babe is still breach and I am praying everyday that he turns. Hope everyone is having a great day !
