Started Hudson real birthday waking up early and biking as a family to the donut shop. We then went to his school and passed out donuts and sang happy birthday with his schoolmates.
All Hudson wanted to do for is birthday dinner was for the three of us (Dad, Mom & Hudson) to go on a date. Sushi, joke book, and yup his first PG-13 movie!!!
He was so excited to see Ant Man. I definitely loved spending one on one time with just my little Hudson.
I still remember my first PG-13, it was when I was 8 my family checked me out of school and we all went to Jurassic Park, the first. I hope Hudson always remembers last night and knows how much his parents love him.
*Bad Joke Explained
Today I mentioned “if I didn’t run a blog I’d run a day care. With the caution to parents to enter at their own risk, & Im not responsible for lost shoes and/or children.”
First off the daycare idea came from workers who were at my house. They told me they wish I could raise their children instead of sending them to daycare because then their children would have siblings and they could run around outdoors with us.
The second concept about the warning came from Hudsons bday party. I had so many little 1st graders running all over my home and yard, and when their parents came to pick them up and asked me where their children and their shoes were ? I then joked how my yard is like an Easter Egg hunt of children and shoes. Then my friend came up with the genius idea that we should make an etsy sign that says:
Enter at your own risk
Not responsible for lost shoes or children
I shared this concept on my IG stories when I saw Brooklyn running in the fields today in nothing but a diaper.
I am completely outnumbered with these children and there is nothing I can do about it except sit back and laugh at the stage of life I am in.
