Going to the Roller rink with my kids has always been a favorite of mine. I love strapping on a pair of skates while pushing one or two of my babies in the stroller. But I learned yesterday that is coming to an end. I started Briton out in the stroller yesterday, but about two songs into it he was screaming to get out. He wanted to scooter himself. How did I get here? I went from having 3 babies, 3 kids under 3, to having three teenagers.
Hudson hardly made eye contact with me unless he wanted more tokens for the arcade, Holland was doing scooter ballet, and Briton was doing everything besides sitting in my stroller.
As I watch my kids slowly not having to rely on me as much, I replay in my head like a broken record to give my kids wings to fly, roots to come back, & reasons to stay.
Today my family is so excited to be teaming up with Payless Shoes to help launch their new line of KangaROOS! Excitement was in the air when the kids discovered the true meaning of why these amazing shoes are called KangaROOS. The little pocket pouch is the neatest thing to them, they have filled them with tokens, rollie pollies & candies so far. I can’t wait to put a little love note in their shoe pouches for the first day of school.
These adorable and comfortable shoes come in sizes and colors for the entire family and are at a great price through Payless. They are having a huge Back-2-School sale where you buy one pair of KangaROOS and get the next pair half off.
*They run true to size for the kids, but for adults we ordered a whole size down. They are so comfortable, sporty, and stylish. I can’t wait to have many more adventurous fun days like we did in them yesterday.
