So today I received two magazines that both had these photos that we took at the Stein Eriksen Lodge.
I love these pics and would love them even more if my husband was in them with me. So I have to give a little warning to brides, future brides, and mostly mothers of brides.
Beware of shady photographers. I to this day still do not have my wedding album. My word of advice is do not pay for any services upfront. DJ, Photographer, Videographer, ect.
My story. My mother and I sat down with a photographer paid up front signed contracts ect. The day of my wedding my photographer told my husband that my family didn’t fully pay, so Dallin went ahead and gave him cash. He also told Dallin that we also didn’t pay for him to stay at the reception, which we did. Dallin told him that the rest of the cash he had he needed for his honeymoon and that he’d pay him the rest once we got back.
Dallin met Ryan Pearson, the shadiest photographer, at a gas station and paid him the rest. For years I tried collecting my wedding album, my photos, ect. nothing. I had my mom going into Photogenix where he was employed and they would always just say were working on it. On our 5 year anniversary Dallin said, “man I wish we had some wedding photos to look at.” I was like I have seriously tried to get them.
Dallin said, ” I am going to call Ryan.” I was like how do you have his phone number? I soon found out about the two encounters Ryan had gotten money from Dallin. Dallin said he didn’t want to embarrass me or my family. I was livid. Called my mom we found the contracts ect. WE HAD PAID! Dallin called Ryan and Ryan again black mailed us. He said no album, and if we ever want to see our wedding day photos to meet in SLC and he was charging us an additional $500! I was freaking out, and get this, he gave us a time limit or else he was going to delete the pics.
I was like lets just take new pics, but my sentimental husband was like you only have one wedding day. We paid. And am still angry to this day. I found out from 3 of my friends that he did this same thing to them. I guess the only thing I can do now is warn future brides of bad people out there who want to hurt your wedding day.
A great wedding photographer is Peppernix, and many more! I would just be very cautious of who you chose.
