we believe in short walks to the fridge, laughing ’til it hurts & saying “I love you” whenever you feel like it 🙂
Kids are currently playing in the snow and Dallin and I are decorating the tree. Today the only thing I want to do is stay home and play in the snow.
Lately we have been stuck in the movie and sushi date night routine, so on Tuesday we decided to switch it up. It started with a couple funny giphys going back and forth with the mr. Then it went full blown Blades Of Glory, costume, spandex and all. Dallin backed out of the costume portion this go around. We had no idea the rink would be disco night, which just added to the flare!
You should have seen the looks on the kids faces when we came home and showed them our moves. They are begging for us to take them soon. This is a date night that well ALWAYS remember!
just a couple kids wishing for a puppy for Christmas 🐶- again
not sure what question gets asked more around here, if they can get a puppy? or which one of them is my favorite? .
I always tell them I don’t have one (I have 4) but they all love the guessing game and reminding me why “themselves” are “IT”, which is 💯 percent ACCURATE ♥️🐶
My 2018 theme is: TAKE BACK
The year of “Take Back” refers to taking my life & body back. Last year I wrote a post called “the mini van effect“. Pretty much expressing the survival mode I’ve been living in with so many littles.
Now that my family is here, I’m looking forward to excel in all things.
For 6 years I’ve been nonstop breastfeeding and pregnant, I’ve gained and lost 120 lbs, I guess you can say I’m feeling pretty excited for 2018 to maintain and to not be changing sizes.
I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture.
By the end of 2018 I want….
- To have only 1 child in diapers
- To go from 7 car seats to 5 (+) 2 boosters (this is between 2 cars)
- All my kids in their own bedrooms
- To not be driving a mini van
- To exercise
In 2018 I’m looking for CLARITY! It’s going to be a BIG year, quite possibly the BEST! As we start excelling I want to really feel good about making sure we are not leaving anyone out (i.e. a potential new family member) who wants to join our nest. Living in excitement without living in regret! And I think 2018 might be THE YEAR!
Wishing everyone a wonderful New Years!
