Drink Yourself Skinny

Since having a baby I have been asked many times how I lost the baby weight, especially how I was able to do it quickly.  So, I thought I would share my secret with a clearer explanation and with measurements, along with some variations.
Thanks for all your DMs and emails the other day, I hope this answers all your questions.

Rapid Weight Loss

Drink yourself skinny! Do these shakes twice a day as meal replacements. Use water instead of milk and if you’re going to use a banana twice a day incorporate prune juice into at least one of your shakes.
You can ditch the prune juice altogether if you use one banana per day and substitute with a different fruit such as blueberries or raspberries.

Slim-Fast – 1 scoop

Prune Juice  – 1/4 cup or less 

Peanut Butter Powder – 1 1/2 TBS  => this is really yummy if you use a vanilla slim fast 

Fruit – 1 whole banana or 1/2 cup of fruit of your choice

Ice – 1 cup 8-9 cubes

Water  – 8 fluid ounces or 1 cup

Blend

             This recipe makes 24-26 ounces drink it all 🙂

For weight maintenance I make one of these shakes for breakfast I love the way it tastes and how I feel when I do.

    Those are nasty!!!! If you have access to a blender do the shake recipe. Also I think the premade ones are milk based? And with my recipe you stay fuller for way longer 🙂

    Does this affect your milk supply? Im breastfeedIng and worried That doing meal replacement will affect my milk supply. Very curious to know your experience!! ThAnks!

    No my milk supply has never been affected by it as long as I am drinking 8 glasses of water a day and doing this 🙂

    Yes! I have only used formula a handful of times between all my children combined and they have all been very healthy weight , other than Holland she was severely tip and tongue tied we got that fixed and she was fine. I don’t use prune juice when breastfeeding.

    You’ll honestly see major results quick! I don’t even stress about the gym anymore bc of it. I now workout for fun and for extra endorphins.

    For dinner I have anything. I try to eat healthy and cook but sometimes we go out. I love sushi burritos and subway sandwiches or like a cafe rio burrito – so really just eat regular dinner

    Can this be blended ahead of time? Or is it better freshly blended? Like could i make my lunch One in the morning & refrigerate it at work?

    Shannon have you experienced any side Affects? Like dizzyness or light headed ?i have had really bad gas and Diarrhea maybe My body isnt use to All that prune Juice.

    No it will separate and it will be nasty! You should get a magic bullet it is a tiny blender 🙂 It does have to be plugged in depending on what you do. I bring a magic bullet when I travel.

    I’d lay off the prune juice and substitue a different fruit instead. I only got bad side effects when I had 2 bananas a day. It would constipate me. Thats why I started doing prune juice

    Katie thanks for writing me and congrats on baby no. 2 that is so fun and yes it gets harder I feel with each one. Do these shakes 2 x a day and eat a normal dinner and the weight will come off. I also have found that I don’t “have” to workout you know so it takes a huge amount of stress off

    I started this when I got bells palsy with my second pregnancy bc I could only drink. I have since nursed three babies since starting this. As long as you drink lots of water and do these shakes your milk supply should be fine:)

    And no snackS in between?! How do yOu make it?i drink A TON Of water but that doesnt help when im hUngry

    I only do two shakes a day when I want to lose weight quick. and when I do that I usually have my first shake around 9, second around noon and Dinner at 5

    I’ll have a diet soda around 3. But again this is my rapid, don’t want to worry about weight anymore. Its hard but after 2 weeks I go back to normal.

    Liz I started out as a fashion blogger showcasing different clothes in different angles so that readers would buy my clothes hence all the pics of the same outfit. I still do that occasionally but now my job is to raise 4 kids. I post as often as I can, mostly posting about life and travel, I love travel those are my favorite posts. I post sponsored content.

    Just want to add that I was skeptical of this (and can’t report the results yet since I’m only on day 3), but it’s actua;ly really good! I did the prune juice and the banana… and then added a tiny bit of vanilla extract and my whole family thought it was the best smoothie they’ve ever had.

    Just thought I’d throw that out there 🙂 Thanks, Shannon. Hoping to report back some good results.

    Quick question: how long did you stay on the rapid (2x per day) plan before you went to 1x per day?

    Al! I am so glad you like it! It actually makes such a difference if you like it. Ill have to try the vanilla extract.

    I did this for 2 strait months, I had 30 lbs to lose. I still had 5 lbs to lose when I went to 1 x a day and it came off in 2 weeks.
