There is something about November air that has me going from missing summer to embracing the beauty of texture, patterns, and materials. Whether it be the suedes, furs, velvets, tweeds, and herringbone I love it all.
This past weekend I took a minute to shop for myself and found some musts for the upcoming winter & my upcoming Disney trip. It’s all about dark colors & athlesiure when it comes it Disney, am I right?!?. I even threw in a fun relaxed outfit that I love. These pant’s are so fun, they have a dressy and pajama feel all in one, and I personally love the elastic waist band, especially for this time of year.
I am obsessed with my new purple cacoon trench, I initially thought I was going to go for the red faux fur, but the purple was just too pretty to pass up. I am also telling my husband that the coat is way too pretty to be wrapped up and am trying to convince him that I will rewrap it for Christmas, so far no luck.
My husband is two things, Papa Noel and Walt Disney in one. He is obsessed with both and takes them very seriously. Maybe that’s why he always books a Disney trip in December? And you better believe rain or shine we will be there magic hours to close. No parade will go unseen, no autograph missed and no character dinner unplanned. He gives Christmas this same kind of detail. As soon as November hits he wraps everything purchased, even my Christmas decor for this year is wrapped and I am not allowed to open until Thanksgiving evening 🙂 I love his ways!
I wanted to let you all know about this sale so you don’t miss out and to answer all the questions I got on it when I was trying on via my snapchat :birdalamode .
Have a great day, the kids are on Thanksgiving break from school and all activities and sports, so they will be joining me at a little Dr.’s appointment and then we are off to pick up the kids pottery which they painted over the weekend. I have to say their projects turned out amazing! I was super hesitant with my 5, 3, and 16 month old painting, but they did awesome and after being kilned for three days they are ready for pick up!
