PDA or PSA -jk but just be thankful we only had a disposable camera on our honeymoon and there was no social media involved. I can count on 3 fingers the amount of times we’ve take a couples trip post kids. Nashville, Nantucket I was 8 months pregnant so I am not even sure that 100% counts as being kidless lol and now Miami.
I honestly loved every minute of it and we only fought about one thing. Nobu (the restaurant) I think it’s totally overrated and doesn’t hold a candle to my Utah sushi. Like who puts seaweed on the outside of the sushi roll besides grocery stores? Yeah no! thats the pettiest thing I think we’ve ever talked/fought about and I love it. He was excited to take me, especially because he’s met the owner and I was like I give it a generous 4. I am just a sushi snob I guess, says the girl who loves movie theatre popcorn, and subway.
Oh and the balcony situation. I was terrified of sleeping with the doors open. Dallin loved the sound of the waves, like a big noise machine. I was more afraid of sleeping walking and unwelcome visitors human or animal alike.
If you haven’t gone on a couples trip, I would make it a priority. A 2022 goal if you will. Thank me later and be sure to tell me where you go.
