Going ‘GREEN’ and recycling some pics I took at my husbands highschool when I had only 2 kids and when I had my husband take actual pics of myself. I feel like its been so long since I’ve had time to fully get ready and stage photos.
On Monday I got “April fooled” by my husband who was on a business trip. I was literally at the mall getting stuff for our trip when he called and said he canceled our trip which was in two days. He never pranks me and is a pretty serious cat. So it being a joke was not even on the radar. He said he had another business trip he HAD to go to and when I said I was still going with the kids he told me not to bother because the weather was going to be terrible, another April fools joke. He pulled it off so well!
Anyways, I have to go back up to Provo tomorrow and run the rest of my errands because I physically, mentally and emotionally canceled the trip. It may sound lame but packing for 6 people for a lenghthy trip takes ALOT of preparation. All I know is I am so glad it was just a prank!
Dallin used to call me a Yorkie puppy when he would come home from business trips. I did not take this as a compliment. He liked to come home and relax and I was always so excited I would go 100 MPH rattling off story after story, showing him what we did etc. So a couple months ago I decided when he came home from trips to give him space and to actually be out of the home when he got home. But tonight I decided to drive to the airport and Yorkie Puppy him. He married a Yorkie and you know what they say… you can’t teach a dog new tricks 🙂
Movies With Brooklyn:
It started with How to Train your Dragon 3 or is it 4 I can’t keep sequals strait. But whenever the white dragon would come on the screen he would literally scream/shrill/squeal whatever you call it. Then we go to Dumbo and every time baby Dumbo came on the screen Brooklyn went nuts! The couple next to us after the movie came up to us and said “we hated the movie, but we love your baby!” So again today at the movies WonderPark when Brooklyn was doing what he does at cartoon movies, so many people came up to us and said thank you for making their movie because they said it was painful to sit through. Brooklyn is very expressive, you always know how he is feeling because he shows it openly. And I love that so much about him.
