Looking to reduce your getting ready time along with unwanted frizz? So was I. I have been getting Keratin treatments for a couple of years now and have absolutely loved the results. I was born with very thick, coarse and curly hair. It is very hard to grow out because I damage it a lot trying to make it something it is not. Blonde and manageable.
I have turned my hair over to Lani who works at Salon Pureza. We do not color my hair as often and only highlight it every other color. One appointment we will highlight, the next we will just do my base color. My hair has grown so much!
But what has saved my hair, and what has saved me so much time in the morning has been my keratin treatments I get quarterly, I swear by them. My hair dry time has been more than cut in half, and dries practically strait with zero frizz. All I have to do is style it.
Here’s what to expect when you get your treatment along with my tips for getting the most out of your treatment and keeping it intact as long as possible.
When you get your treatment plan on being at the salon for 2-3 hrs. Your stylist will start the process by washing your hair multiple times. -it is so relaxing. Keratin solution will then be added to your wet hair in tiny sections. With solution still in your hair your stylist will blow dry and straiten your hair. Your hair will feel so smooth and feel immediately longer, at least mine always does, upon drying and straitening.
72 hrs. after your treatment, wash your hair with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. During the 72 hrs post treatment do nothing to your hair. Do not put in a ponytail or tuck behind your ears, try not to add any creases.
