Boston you are beautiful! When we first got here we tried staying at the Kimpton Nine Zero but I was not vibing. I can read energies and it was so dark and dreary I needed a new scene. So we headed to the Marriott Long Wharf where we were surrounded by water and boats, overall just a way happier feeling.
Right now I am watching Fever Pitch and it has me wishing we had made it to a Red Sox game, but we didn’t have enough time. I also would have like to have gone to Salem, especially this time of year with Halloween in the air. The night we had planned it, it rained so we walked around visited Paul Revere ate a romantic dinner and got serenaded by a violinist on a park swing. It was perfect and exactly what we needed.
The next day we hit the ground running🏃♀️ – I regret 2 things:
- syrup, I had syrup on my french toast and I got a huge headache, not a great way to start the day full of sight-seeing this only happens when I eat syrup and ONLY while I’m pregnant
- shoes, I should have worn sneakers but never fear the UGG store sandal slippers saved my legs and were perfect to wear to the airport later that night
We only had a little time in Boston but we were able to walk the entire Freedom Trail and we ate lots! of yummy food.
I cant wait to come back! Next time I bring the kids. It’d be amazing for them to see and learn about history and absorb all the info like little sponges. It’d benefit them the rest of their lives. Like the time we took Hudson to Washington DC before he was two he came back reciting the entire Pledge of Allegiance my memory. Think what they could learn in a couple days in Boston 🙂
